  5. 1. The purpose of the program
  6. =============================
  7. eClean 2000 is a simple text editor which allows you to clean-up 
  8. and reconstruct forwarded e-mails.
  9.  
  10. 2. Installation
  11. ===============

  13.   a.  Unzip EClean21.zip into a temporary directory.  
  14.   b.  Run setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.
  15.   c.  Delete the extracted files in the temporary directory
  16.       from above.

  18. 3. Shareware
  19. ============

  21. eClean 2000 is distributed as shareware.  After installation,
  22. refer to the programs help file (EClean.hlp) for 
  23. more licensing and distribution information.

  28. Both files in EClean21.zip must be distributed in their 
  29. original form:

  34. 5. What's New in eClean 2000 (version 2.1.0)
  35. ==========================================
  36.  
  37. eClean now operates as a system tray or as a stand alone application.  
  38. This means that eClean's functionality is available automatically after your
  39. PC reboots or on demand from the Windows Start menu.  You choose!
  40. When in system tray mode,  eClean's icon (an envelope) can be found in your 
  41. system tray (lower right portion of the screen by the clock).

  43. Using the right mouse button, click on eClean's system tray icon
  44. to show a menu of commands that are available from the tray menu.
  45.  
  46. Most notably, you can now clean the contents of the clipboard 
  47. by simply copying some text into the clipboard and
  48. selecting "Clean Clipboard Contents..." from the tray menu.
  49.  
  50. This will clean the text found in the clipboard without 
  51. requiring you to open eClean, paste the text and recopy the
  52. text back into the clipboard.  This is a real timesaver!!!
